ABSTRACT
The contribution of libraries to the development of social capital is a current focus of local libraries and library organizations. Using strategies and parameters developed for a project initiated by a humanities project, based at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, this article provides a few simple strategies librarians can use to identify and research organizations of interest to local citizens and groups.
